Strawberry Mansion Tennis Association
We utilize tennis to appeal to different age groups of youth and young and older adults to reach the broadest at-risk children in the City of Philadelphia. Our goals have been to help use tennis and physical play to teach children the life skills and to fully develop themselves by learning to eat natural foods, have strong bodies, minds, and spirits. Since 1989 we have served more than 15,000 children throughout Philadelphia and 3500 adults. Our programs and community services have benefited schools, boys clubs, girls clubs and childcare centers throughout Philadelphia. Our adult program provide after work tennis aerobics, team tennis programs, one on one tennis instruction, outdoor recreational activities and our annual SMART Tennis Tournaments. Our programs are offered in partnership with community-based organizations including recreation centers and religious institutions. We invite you and your family to join with us to learn how to play tennis the SMART way. Call 215.763.-0581 or just come on out to the tennis courts on every Saturdays & Sundays hrs. 9:00 am & 1:00 pm during our 2008 summer tennis season. Our tennis courts are located at 33rd and Suquehanna Avenue in East Fairmount Park North Philadelphia Strawberry Mansion.

Salim Amir Ali was special tennis instructor for Department of the United States Air force during 1999. He traveled to several air force bases to conduct youth tennis camps at U.S. Air force base at Hurlburt Field Ft. Walton Beach Florida, U.S. Air force base at Patrick Field in Melbourne Florida, and Seymour Air Force Base in North Carolina
